K&N HP-2010 Performance Wrench-Off Oil Filter

  • O/E replacement oil filters for most cars, trucks, SUV's, motorcycles, & ATV's
  • Resin-impregnated filter media traps 99% of harmful contaminants
  • 1 In. exposed nut designed for easy oil filter removal
  • Heavy duty construction for extreme conditions
  • Anti-drainback valve (where applicable) eliminates dry starts, prevents oil from draining back into crankcase during engine shutdown

The welded-on nut on the back is a nice feature. The little hole for a safety wire is (in my opinion) a bit silly. I have NEVER had an oil filter come loose. But still, nice thought. What I like best is the high flow rate. I have a 2004 Ford F-150 5.4l that has developed ticking in the hydraulic lifters. The better the oil flow, the less ticking I have. Reviews indicate the filtration is still very good. I highly recommend - especially for older cars/trucks where build-up may be limiting oil flow in places.

Use this product on all my vehicles that I service Has larger cleaning capacity than stock oil filters Don't mind paying extra for better product

Perfect for my 2002 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0. Great price too. Do your own oil change and same some money.. You may even learn a thing or two about your car! 😊

The nut on the end is the single biggest reason to buy these, and I don't see a reason to ever buy anything else. K&N must have it patented, as no other brand i've seen includes a hex nut on the end, which is a shame. EVERY oil filter should have a hex nut. Other than that, this is one of the few oil filters which consistently get's good reviews for Dodge SRT engines. My 6.4L hemi seems happy, and upon removal, i've never seen any collapsed filter media in these as some have on other brands of filters. These are a little more expensive than some competitors, but the nut on the end is worth it. Throw those stupid oil filter wrenches away and just buy these.

Perfect fit. Great oil filter. Was going through a rough couple months so I had an extended oil interval. Oil was still golden in color. Filter works fantastic. Love the wrench off nut on the filter

i will only use kn filters from now on. the last 2 filters i used from royal purple leaked from the gasket on 2 seperate vehicles. I had always run kn and but wanted to give rp a try. also tried a mopar filter and was almost impossible to remove, again never had that problem with kn. i have since switched back to kn and will stay with kn.

No problems. Another quality K&N product I have been using the HP2010 oil filter for years on my 2005 F150. The 1 inch nut on the end of the filter makes removal so easy. This filter is made in the USA.

I want to maintain my vehicles with the very best products. K&N filters are the best! When I was younger... I thought a filter was a filter and I bought Fram or some other inexpensive brand and I thought that was good enough. I'm older and I hope much wiser do to life's experiences and the extensive research I do on everything I purchase. In most cases... you get what you pay for. I have used K&N oil and air filters in my truck, car and motorcycle for many years and would't think of changing to something less. You get a quality, well built product and when I think of all the times I ruined filter removal tools... I really apreciate the nut that is welded on the bottom of the oil filter for easy removal in tight places. Protect your investments with K&N. If someone else changes your oil and air filters... buy K&N from Amazon and have your maintenance man install them!

Excellent filter @ a price equivalent to much lesser types @ the local auto parts store. There R places U can skimp on quality...….. the filtration device for the life blood of ur engine ain't one of them.

These filters make charging oil in my truck quick and easy! So much easier than your standard filter! And my oil keeps viscosity for longer with this filter. I've got it on subscribe and save.
